Hereby I would like to inform you about the upcoming workshop ‘Preservation of Media Art’ from March 26-30 2018 at LIMA Amsterdam.
This workshop invites conservators and registrars working with media artworks in museums to gain an understanding of the different components involved in documenting and preserving media artworks for the sake of preservation and future presentations. It is a five-day workshop consisting of lectures, workshops, artists talks, museum visits, and an opportunity to catch up with your network or start building one regarding the conservation of media art. on the conservation of media art. You are encouraged to bring your own case study to discuss during the workshop.
Please not that there is a limited number of participants (8), and there is a expended registration deadline (March 15). The workshop fee is 1000,- euro per participant. 500 euro for 3 days.
