I am delighted to be sending you this draft Icon Strategy for 2017-2021.
It has been drafted with objectives and strands taken directly from feedback from the membership and this is now an opportunity for you to help set the direction of Icon for the next five years. We are interested in refining our organization, our activity, and our impact.
We will also be sending the document out to key stakeholders in the heritage sector, so if you hear that someone in your organization has received it, please encourage them to respond.
The Icon Board of Trustees have been examining various strands of Icon’s future direction for some time, with a view to creating an organisational strategy that is forward-looking and outward-facing. We have reflected on the insights of our partner organisations and funders and have considered the comments from the membership, both in individual feedback from members to staff, Group committees, Trustees and also through the 2015 membership survey
