Joint Master’s Programme “Culture Heritage Conservation and Management”

Dear colleagues,

After a delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Institute of Conservation and Restoration at the University of Applied Arts is pleased to finally launch its newly established Joint Master’s Programme “Culture Heritage Conservation and Management” in collaboration with Silpakorn University International College Bangkok. The advanced 3-semester Master’s programme is aimed at graduates in the field of restoration and conservation who already hold a diploma or equivalent degree (MA, Dipl.-Rest., 7 Semester BA) in this field. A good knowledge of English (B2 of the CEFR – Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) is required, as all classes are held in English.

The programme focuses on international project work, teaching and fostering of restoration related knowledge and practices, project- and site management, and the conservation of cultural property and world heritage (with focus on South-East Asia). Transcultural and interdisciplinary teaching formats, as well as stays in Asia, enable students to learn from and with each other.
